Our story
We're Grace and Richard — a husband and wife team working from a barn workshop in Dorset.
What started as making gifts for the people we care about grew, through word of mouth, into Dorset Custom Crafts. We don't mass-produce, and we don't rush. Each order is treated as a small project, not just a transaction.
If something matters to you, we take the time to make sure it's done properly.

How it works

Grace handles the design and layout, and creates a design for your approval before anything is made.
Richard works the materials and machinery in our workshop, so the finished piece feels right — never rushed.
Materials & values
We work primarily with wood and slate, sourcing locally where possible and choosing materials that feel solid, honest and made to last. We're not corporate. We don't follow trends. We focus on making things properly.
